Areas

The Areas editor is part of the system configuration and allows the adding, definition and maintenance of areas on a work site.

Every site can be split up in one or several physical Areas (also called Zones) that currently is used to indicate the presence of devices in an area, but will later be expanded to define behaviours relevant to areas (such as different maximum speeds, or different braking distances per area).

An easy-to-use polygonal editor allows defining physical area boundaries and intersections directly on the Map of a site (in a Google-Maps view).

Note: The editing of all configuration items are restricted to administration access levels.
